Premium Floor Paint - Metallic Brush Effect

Instructions for Use
- We recommend a working temperature of approx. 20°C.
- The surface should be dust-free, clean, and even. Level out holes, unevenness, and slopes in advance with levelling compound.
- Always start with our PRIMER.
- Mix the primer thoroughly and dye it with WB pigment in anthracite grey or light grey.
- Pour the material into a paint tray after mixing.
- Roll the material onto the desired surface with a paint roller.
- Allow the primer to dry (approx. 8-12 hours).
Main Coating with EFFECT PAINT
- Use our EFFECT PAINT for a metallic brush effect.
- First, mix the EFFECT PAINT with the supplied metallic pigment PLATINUM SILVER. We recommend adding approx. 1.5%, e.g. 15g of PLATINUM SILVER metallic pigment to 1kg of EFFECT PAINT.
- Then, mix the EFFECT PAINT with the supplied metallic pigment PEARL WHITE (add approx. 1.5%, e.g. 15g metallic pigment PEARL WHITE to 1kg EFFECT PAINT) and apply the paint wet-on-wet to the first layer in PLATINUM SILVER.
- Paint the material onto the primed surface.
- The paint is dust-dry after approx.5 hours.
Sealing with PU
- Coat the surface with the PU resin.
- To do this, mix the PU resin (A) with the appropriate PU hardener (B) in the specified mixing ratio. PU glossy: 10:2 by weight (e.g.: 1kg A + 0.2kg B); PU matt: 10:1 by weight (e.g.: 1kg A + 0.1kg B). Optionally, you can add up to 20% water.
- Transfer the mixture to a paint tray and mix again. This way you make sure that resin (A) and hardener (B) mix completely.
- We recommend mixing smaller quantities of approx.1kg per coat, as the material, is very productive and sets quickly (pot life: 60 min. with 1kg).
- Apply the material thinly with a foam roller in a criss-cross pattern. To achieve an even finish, use our scraper grid to scrape off excess material before application. We recommend a layer thickness of max.150µm.
- The material can be walked on after approx. 20-24 hours and is completely chemically cured after approx.7 days.
We recommend adding water to the PU resin when working at high ambient temperatures or when mixing a large quantity in order to avoid an orange peel texture.
Consumption volumes
- Overall coating (primer + main coating + sealing): approx. 330-380g/sqm
- Primer: approx. 120-150g/sqm
- Main layer: approx. 110-130g/sqm
- Sealing: approx. 100g/sqm
