Instructions for Use

Primer with EPOXY PRIMER

1. We recommend a working temperature of approx. 20°C.
2. The surface should be dust-free, clean, and even. Level out holes, unevenness, and slopes in advance with levelling compound.
3. Always start with our EPOXY PRIMER (primer).
4. To colour the primer, add approx. 10% of WB PIGMENT to it (e.g. 100g of pigment to 1kg of EPOXY PRIMER) and mix again.
5. Pour the material into a paint tray after mixing.
6. Roll the material onto the desired surface with a paint roller.
7. Allow the primer to dry (approx. 8-12 hours).

Main Coating with EFFECT PAINT

1. Use our EFFECT PAINT for a metallic brush effect.
2. Mix the EFFECT PAINT with the supplied metallic pigment HAVANA BRONZE. We recommend a colour proportion of approx. 3%, e.g., 30g metallic pigment to 1kg EFFECT PAINT.
3. Paint the material onto the primed surface.
4. The paint is dust-dry after approx.5 hours.

Sealing with PU

1. Coat the surface with the PU resin.
2. To do this, mix the PU resin (A) with the appropriate PU hardener (B) in the specified mixing ratio. PU glossy: 10:2 by weight (e.g.: 1kg A + 0.2kg B); PU matt: 10:1 by weight (e.g.: 1kg A + 0.1kg B). Optionally, you can add up to 20% water.
3. Transfer the mixture to a paint tray and mix again. This way you make sure that resin (A) and hardener (B) mix completely.
4. We recommend mixing smaller quantities of approx.1kg per coat, as the material, is very productive and sets quickly (pot life: 60 min. with 1kg).
5. Apply the material thinly with a foam roller in a criss-cross pattern. To achieve an even finish, use our scraper grid to scrape off excess material before application. We recommend a layer thickness of max.150µm.
6. The material can be walked on after approx. 20-24 hours and is completely chemically cured after approx.7 days.

Pro Tip: We recommend adding water to the PU resin when working at high ambient temperatures or when mixing a large quantity in order to avoid an orange peel texture.

Recommended thicknesses when coating floors and other surfaces

• Overall coating (primer + main coating + sealing): approx. 330-380g/sqm
• Primer: approx. 120-150g/sqm
• Main layer: approx. 110-130g/sqm
• Sealing: approx. 100g/sqm
