EPODEX PRIMER 2K
EPODEX PRIMER 2K is a highly abrasion-resistant and diffusion-open primer based on epoxy resin. The water-based 2-component system is ideal for priming non-absorbent surfaces, e.g. tiles, metal, etc. PRIMER 2K is odourless and free from harmful solvents.
Instructions for Use
- Apply the product at min. 15°C to max. 30°C.
- The substrate must be firm, dry, sound, clean, and free from substances that may prevent good adhesion (grease and oil). Roughen the surface to enable better adhesion.
- Clean and degrease the surface with EPODEX PRE-CLEANER.
- Mix resin (A) with hardener (B) in a ratio of 5:1 by weight (e.g. 5kg resin: 1kg hardener). Decant the mixture into a clean container and mix again.
- Working time/pot life at 20°C: approx. 50 minutes, at 25°C: approx. 35 minutes. We recommend approx. two coats.
- Wait at least 12 hours before applying the second coat.
- Can be walked on after approx. 1 day. Fully loadable after approx. 7 days. Store between 10°C and 30°C.

A-Components (2K PRIMER) Danger: Polymer epoxy resin adduct; CAS-No.: 260549-92-6 Causes serious eye damage. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. Dispose of contents/container to in accordance with local/regional/international regulations. Contains epoxy compounds. May produce an allergic reaction.

Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Dispose of contents/container to in accordance with local/regional/international regulations.
